You've just spent 2 hours on the Parkway getting to your rental house...now it's off to the grocery store to pick up food for the week. Here are some helpful tips to make hitting the grocery store this Summer a pleasant experience. 

The growing trend in grocery stores over the last few years has been Curbside / Store Pick Up or Delivery. Why not save yourself much needed time and stress and plan ahead this year. 

Here are some grocery stores in the area and the services they provide to help you save some time this Summer.

ShopRite's Shop From Home Service offers both Curbside Pick Up and Delivery (depending on location) for its customers. ShopRite has 2 locations in Toms River:

ShopRite / 2 Route 37 – 732.270.4500 - This location ONLY offers Curbside Pick Up – with a $10 Shopping Fee. 

ShopRite – 860 Fischer Blvd. – 732.270.8833 – This location offers both Curbside Pick Up and Delivery. Both Curbside Pick Up and Delivery have a $10 shopping fee, but Delivery charges an additional $5.99 delivery fee. 

ShopRite will deliver 7 days a week 11am-1pm / 1pm-3pm, but delivery times and days are subject to a first come first serve basis. You can shop online at www.shoprite.com up to 6 days before your delivery date.  

The most accessible location on your way to the beach thru Toms River is Stop N Shop – 353 Rt. 35/Toms River – 732.341.1327.

Stop N Shop in Toms River offers both Curbside Pick-up and Delivery Services to their customers thru their Peapod service - www.peapod.com.  Peapod will deliver your order right to your door 7 days a week.  Delivery times are based on a first come first service basis.  Curbside Pick Up and Delivery fees start at $9.95 but vary depending or your order amount and they do offer discount days.
